The 5k Run/Walk is being held in memory of Rebecca Pelfrey. She truly loved kids and education, and was a true warrior in the battle against cancer. Race proceeds will be donated to The American Cancer Society to fight breast cancer, and to the Rebecca Pelfrey Fund at the V-B Foundation to provide grants and scholarships to students and teachers at Vandalia-Butler County Schools.
